  4. WARNING: This editor doesn't write directly
  5. to the card but routes data via the RAP10
  6. driver. Since this is not a multiclient driver, 
  7. you must make sure that no other running
  8. application is using the RAP10 as a MIDI
  9. output port to avoid crashing the system.
  10. The Audio editor can safely control in real
  11. time wave playback initiated by wave editors
  12. or multitrack programs such as SEK'D
  13. Samplitude Studio. When it is needed
  14. to modify patch/system parameters while
  15. listening to the card's GM synth output, you
  16. will have to save your work as a MIDI file,
  17. load the file into Midi Quest sequencer
  18. and play music from there. Patch/system/audio
  19. settings can all be saved either as MIDI files
  20. or as SysX binary files that may easily be
  21. exported to audio & midi sequencer software
  22. like Cakewalk Pro Audio 6.0 and later
  23.  
  24. * Allows System editing for the RAP-10

  26. * The RAP-10 does not transmit SysX so
  27.   this editor is set up to be "Transmit
  28.   only"

  30. * Once a file is loaded into the editor, the
  31.   card's settings can be updated either by

  37.   selection and soloing are "live" functions.
